Going to bed because I want a decent night's sleep tonight.

I'm all set for Mokou questions. Yorihime is an interesting possibility but I doubt she is responsible because she's connected rather heavily to 'Nakko so 'Nakko surely would have noticed who was responsible if it was her.

I would also suggest approaching Eientei like a normal person and only inquire about the rabbit visitor. Drop Tewi's name if necessary, since we can say we asked around and Murasa mentioned it. I don't think we should mention our missing cards to gate guards, though if we can get inside and snag ourselves a high-ranking conversation partner we could probably safely do it then. If we get refused at the gate, double back, turn into a rabbit, and try re-entry. (Faking an injury should help eliminate questions. We might even be able to shapeshift ourselves up a lump on the head or two to really sell it.)

>The two of you walk along in silence.

> Can we go invisible or rapidly change to give the illusion that we're invisible?

>You have no idea how you could shapechange to make yourself invisible. Even if there were a thing that could becoming invisible by virtue of some physical trait, you doubt you could mimic it. You can't reproduce things you can't understand, which is why you haven't just poisoned people in the past, you don't know how to make venom sacs that actually work, they're too foreign to you (though you can make something that certainly looks like venom sacs)
>You may be able to use a Seed of Non-Identification, but you've never tried it before on something that alive and moving. You imagine it would be a pretty flimsy illusion, though.

>Theoretically, yes. But, you get the feeling it would crash into details that too fine for you to alter. You really have no idea how snake venom is made, for instance, even if you mimic their structure as well as you can. You think there are just details too small and exacting for you to manipulate. That said, you can certainly fake it and try to fool others. But there may be cases where you can make a thing based on proper study; or at least a decent-enough approximation.

If we get that far then we won't need to fake it any further. It's mostly just to get inside as necessary.

> Yeesh, are we not at the Bamboo Forest yet?

>No you're not at the bamboo forest, what is it with this woman and walking?
>You make your way into the Forest of Magic shortly, and the two of you travel in silence as she leads you along the road past Kourindou a little ways, before splitting off and heading into the forest. After fighting through a bit of brush, you find yourself on a winding path. In the distance, you can occasionally hear faeries squabbling, while it's already as dark as midnight under the forest canopy. Crickets and other insects sing, while you can hear a couple birds and the occasionally owl. Every so often, you see a rabbit or raccoon skitter out of your path, while the faeries seem to be content to stay distant.
>After walk for a little bit, bamboo shoots appearing among the trees, and quickly begin to choke everything out. Soon, there is only bamboo around you, and the trail vanishes entirely. The bamboo forest is much quieter; while insects continue to trill away, there's not nearly so much in the way of animal noises. The rustle of wind through the towering bamboo provides the only other noise. Looking up, you can see bits of the sky in the night through the stalks, and see it is well and truly night. A full moon softly sheds its light. Turning your attention toward the ground, you quickly becoming very lost. All the bamboo looks the same, and you have no idea how Mokou is deciding when to turn, aside from periodically reaching a stand so thick that you can't push your way through it.
>After an indeterminate length of time, Mokou says, "That's it up ahead," while pointing forward into the bamboo. "Do whatever you're going to do before heading in." Looking ahead, you can't see anything.
