>You head back toward the human village. The poltergeists' music is still plain to hear, even before you reach the village. From the distance, it seems to be precisely as you left it.

Going to bed. We should probably make something that we can eat now and make a little extra something that we can take with us for our journey (which we always seem to forget to do in these games). Finding Byakuren would be nice but isn't essential - the important thing is that we're ready to see Mokou at sun down.

>You head up to the kitchen.
The kitchen is also the temple's dining room, so it manages to be at once spacious and not spacious at all due to the tables. You rummage through the cabinets, and turn up distressingly little in the way of meat, just some dried fish. Nor is there much in the way of sauces. There is rice and  fair amount of vegetables, at least.

>Whip ourselves up a meal using the rice and veggies and make a few rice balls for the road

>You set some rice to cook, then get to work chopping up and heating some vegetables. You can hear Ichirin cleaning out the temple as you work. Soon enough, the rice is done done, and you set to work making some onigiri while the rice is still warm and sticky. Then you pour the rest into a bowl and mix in what sauces you can find for a little variety.
>It's simple and filling, if not as deliciously satisfying as you'd like. Ah well, it's not like you can expect much from a kitchen belonging to a creed that eschews too much connection to the world...
>You obtain: Riceball x5

> Retrieve our shoes, put them back on, then leave the temple and head to the tavern.

>You put your footwear back on, and head outside.
>The music and dancing haven't abated; indeed the music has grown even more frenzied. It's hard to tell how the crowds have shifted, if there's more or less people than before, or if many have left and new people have come in.
>It is a little difficult to get to the tavern, but thankfully the people hanging around the edge of the dance are willing to make way for you when they see you. Entering the tavern, you find it's more of the same. People are here, sitting at the tables and talking among themselves in low, worried tones. You note that no one is eating or drinking anything, it seems the tavern is just being used as a place to sit. You note Mokou standing behind the bar, wiping it down with a rag.
