>You try to fit the two pieces together. After flipping the blade, you find a spot where they seem to fit together.
>Looking at the somewhat reconstructed weapon you can see that a sizable section of the of the blade is gone, the parts that join are only a small fraction of its width. The missing section is about two finger-widths wide, and judging from the raggedness of the edges, it was not removed cleanly. This sword wasn't split cleanly in two, it was shattered near the hilt.

>You wave and head toward the jewelry store, going the route through the alley that you used before.
>Passing by the housing row, you see the jeweler's shop on the south side of the road, and a run-down shop that looks fairly similar in appearance to Kourindou, though lacking the mess out front, with a sign dangling out front that reads, "Charms". Obvious exists are north, south, east, and west.

> Enter the charms shop.

>You walk through the front door of the charms shop.
>Inside, you immediately notice how cramped it is. The room couldn't me more than a few yards across, packed with shelves containing numerous necklaces, bracelets, figurines, and other trinkets. A heavy musty smell hangs in the air, and the one exposed window only allows in a feeble amount of light. Sitting at a counter across from the door is a tall, broad man in a faded black robe that hangs lightly from his shoulders. His hair is blonde, streaked heavily with gray, and slicked back close to his head. His features are craggy and accentuate his intense blue eyes. Hands folded in front of his face, he seems to radiate irritation.
>"Welcome," he says in a low voice, as if he doesn't want to disrupt the silence. "Not many youkai visit here."
