//Here saying that I'm really hating desyncing and democracy in DaiQuest right now because it forces me to wait a long time to
be allowed to post that I should not have to on discussion that I have almost no control over. Again, it's making this quest more akin to a game like RTD or one of the team games. At least there though, It's waiting a day every parsing, whereas here, doing that would be insane.
//We all know Petards weren't the most reliable. :v
Marubug:
>"Doremy ! Are you here ?"
> You call...
> No response.
ExperiDai:
> "If it's not a bother, can you tell me how you met? I really wonder how Miss Mokou met someone of the village... and why she lives at this forest..."
===
Prime (Kono):
> Hold her too.
> "Okay-doke."
> "No..." Keine refuses.
> You hold Kono.
> She begins to move gently across the water with you.
Prime (Rin):
> "Can you tell me about that? I'd like to remember..."
> Smile.
> "I'd like to remember how good that song was."
===
Prime (Letty):
> Do we only look plumpy? Not other change?
> "It was alright..." Rin says.
> Well, with the recent change, you look much more like Letty now...
Marubug:
>Anything ?
Fusion (Alt.):
>Prepare one to find out who made our miracle backfire.
>If less than 4%, cast it.
>If Alt 2 is stuck in time make a time bubble around her to save her.
Fusion (Alt. 2):
>Cast it.
> Nothing.
> You prepare a miracle...
> You cast it.
> You now know that you caused your miracle to backfire.
> You make a time bubble for your other self.
> You cast the blessing and miracle.
//Reminder that democracy rules mean wait for everyone (but kilga) to make a post of either commands or an approval.
//FAKE EDIT: See below.
//Also waiting for opinions Re: Fairy Village
SanaDai:
>How much will this cost?
>How fast did it take to prepare compared to usual time?
Whichever Fusion Alt is stopping time:
>Prepare a locator miracle for Diana.
>Assess cost.
//FAKE EDIT ADDENDUM: Actually, I just realized Tashi DID have a post and it WAS missed.
//So was one of Raf's commands.
//above commands seem fine.
> It won't cost much.
> Much faster.
> You prepare another miracle...
> It won't cost any.
//Seiga, not Seija.
//There is no reason you cannot do both at the same time!
//I would be curious about how complex the parser thinks it is, since he's the one that will be making the distinctions when updating and therefore the only one who's opinion really matters in that regard. But perhaps it should be worded more clearly for the players? The specific proposal I had in mind was to enable Democracy Mode only for spells cast at/on and dialogue directed at Alt Seija and Alt Gasanae. I think that's pretty cut-and-dry, with no room for confusion. More people could conceivably be added later, of course, if they are found to have more allies.
//You word it so negatively!
Why, I could reasonably say that the sole reason Democracy Mode exists is that you can globally fulfill your desire for policing the actions of your fellow players, and that if everyone was okay with their fellow players making the occasional mistake, Democracy Mode wouldn't be necessary. But that's not very flattering!
//I hold it as a foundational truth of public text adventures that, outside of the parser's decisions on the mechanics of updating, any given player should not be forced to wait on any other given player to play the game if that player does not want to. (If they do want to, then more power to 'em, of course.) This must be upheld to help ensure that all players are equal within the context of the game, and to violate this truth is to claim that one player and their opinions are more important than another player and their opinions. There is, of course, the obvious question of "what if a player goes rogue", but inter-player social consequences are perfectly fine, as is reasonably-justified countermanding (as much as I personally am not a fan of it), as also is the parser choosing to simply ignore a troll player or outright remove them from the game. (See Nefer as a perfect example of this: Despite the fact that none of his troll posts ever came during a Democracy Mode, none of them ever came to fruition, due to the vigilance of the other players and/or the sensible nature of the parser.)
//I would be perfectly willing to have a discussion about this, especially since such is immediately relevant to the current game state, though I cannot promise that my mind will be changed.

RenBug (T):
> Whatcha doin' Miss Renko? Did you figure your new powers out?
---
KaisuDai:
> "I see...and I'm guessing that we're talking like this because Miss Reimu and Miss Kasen won't work somehow..."
> "New? No." Renko shakes her head. "I don't know where to start."
> Kaisu shakes her head lightly.
SenDai:
> Keep a quiet tone, but raise it above a whisper.
> "Oh! Miss Virtue, was there anything you wanted me to do for you with my magics, before we go to sleep?"
---
RanBug:
> Think about Ran's opinion of us.
> Think about how Ran feels about falling asleep with us inside her, given she knows we can control her body and speak using her voice.
> Magically modify Ran's body so it is back to normal, just in case Yukari wakes up before the rest of us and checks on us.
> "...No. Thank you for the offer though." Virtue smiles.
> You think...
> Ran likes your company and thinks you'd be a good friend for Chen if it was considered.
> She thinks you'll probably comfort Chen if she's still awake, or go to sleep.
> You alter Ran's body to get it back to normal.
//...because i totally forgot about it. :V
Rikadai-chan:
>"Hey Rika, is there anything that have that can pierce through forcefields ?"
> "Force fields? Rikako's thing, right?"
