>It is fairly dense everywhere.
>To the left is more bamboo for a few yards, then it becomes too dense to see.

>You send out a wave of danmaku at the boar as it turns around to face you. Many of the shots hit home, but it doesn't really seem to slow the animal done. This doesn't surprise you, you are well aware of a boar's near supernatural tolerance for pain.
>"Got it!" says Reisen, "Give me a moment to set up something."
>The boar turns around, as you float away. This is a bit more difficult to do freely than you'd like, as you back into a large bamboo stalk rather quickly. The boar dashes up the hill at you, stumbling a little and squealing furiously.

>You leap into the air as the boar charges and take flight. It tries to flick its tusk toward your legs, but its is not in a good position to do so.
>It does collide with the bamboo stalk, but going uphill with a reasonably short charge, it doesn't seem to impact hard enough to do more than irritate it a little. Then a stream of damage slams into its side with enough force to make it stagger.

> Bend our legs as quickly as we can to prepare for a double foot stomp, while flying downward, aiming for the side of the boar that just got blasted.
> Once we've covered the foot of distance between us and the boar before we bent our legs, kick out with the bottoms of our feet at the side of the boar that just got blasted in an effort to keep it off-balance, if not knock it over entirely. Use the kick-back force of the collision to spring back up into the air a bit, backward away from the boar. (If the kick lands true and it feels like we didn't just irritate the boar, turn the jump-back into an aerial backflip for style points.)

>You descend and stomp on the boar's shoulder as it staggers, sending it to the ground. You then spring back upward and away, and collide  with the bamboo stalk that got your way previously. Thankfully, this isn't painful; bamboo is not very defense, but does ruin your momentum.

>You make your way down the hill, sending some more danmaku toward the boar as you pass by. It struggles to its feet, definitely slowed a little by the danmaku. But you expect it will take much more to put it down; you've known boars to be stabbed by a spear, and react by running up the shaft to gore the spearman.
