>"I dunno about the key, it's been here longer than I have," says the mouse youkai with a shrug. "Nothing unusual about it that I can tell."
>"Now that cord, that is unusual. If you wrap it around something, it'll strengthen and reinforce it."
>"That sauce is just some hot sauce from underground. Never tried it, but the smell alone is pretty powerful."
>"That's just some incense. Nothing special about it."

>Taking a closer look at the arrow, you can see it is solidly made, apparently from oak wood. The head slender and quite sharp. It seems to bear some age, though it has weathered that time well.

Thus far, you've noted nothing unusual, but as you turn between two houses near the southern side of town, you think you catch a glimpse of someone with green hair, just walking past on the other side.

>You continue through and dash out onto the narrow side street to find...nothing. You are along side of a small manor, which likely belongs to someone of some minor importance. On your other side is a smaller home, which seems to deal in candles if the sign painted on the side is to be believed. On the opposite side of the street, you can what seems to be the back side of a warehouse. The street is empty.
