>Has Roukanken been in our family for a long time?

>It's been in the family for a couple generations, at least. You don't know where it came from, and Yuyuko has always been coy about its origins.

>You have a sip. Ooo, that's strong. Not bad, though.

>"Hakurouken is the ancestral weapon of the Konpaku family. It has the ability to dispel confusion. Roukanken is quite long and I have spent much of my life training to be able to wield it effectively. Forged by youkai, there are few things it cannot cut."

>She raises an eyebrow.
>"Impressive. I have a few swords of my own."
>She gestures toward the sword rack.
>"But their significance is more...historical. Whatever spirit they hold is either beyond me or unimpressive. Probably the latter. The one I have with me is the best of the lot, nothing so impressive as yours, but I've never needed to sharpen it."

>Just swinging it around at some practice targets for a little bit ought to be enough. A proper battle would be even better.
>You seldom need to tend to Roukanken, but Hakurouken need to been maintained about as frequently as any well-made sword; this is a reason why you often leave it sheathed and stick to your other weapon if you don't need it.

There's some tall person who occasionally hangs out around town, wears a shawl and is usually with this kid in a mask. As for red hair...um...there's that bookstore girl, and I think the police officer? As for well built, do you mean strong or, uh..."
