>"I'll see about bringing something else, next time."
>Bow, say proper goodbyes, and depart.
>Louise nods.
>"Mind if I ask ya something, before we take off?" Lily asks as she hops to her feet.
>"You may ask."
>"How'd you breathe lightning without shocking yourself?" The Water Champion merely regards her curiously for a moment, so Lily continues, "I mean since water conducts electricity, and you're the water champion, I just thought you wouldn't be throwing lightning bolts around."
>The demon nods. "Is your power limited to throwing flowers around?" she asks Lily.
>"Well, no, of course not."
>"Nor is mine limited to water."
>Having satisfied her curiosity, you wonder about the odds of possibly wrangling some more answers out of Louise about her own powers, and maybe the powers of the other Champions. But given her somewhat guarded answers to pretty much everything you've asked so far, the odds of this seems a bit slim, so you decide not to press, and not damage the good will you're confidant you have garnered today.
>Bidding the Water Champion farewell, you gather up your party and make your way back down the forested path once more, focusing your power upon the touchstone once you reach the spot you entered into, and recall yourself and your friends back down the rainbow corridor, into the real world.
>It is snowing now, large wet flakes drifting by on the breeze, and the area behind the closed rental store is as devoid of people as it was when you left.
>"That coulda been worse." Rin states once your reversion to realspace is complete. "If we'd come in where she was blastin', coulda been messy."
