Well, I don't like giving that much away for this thing, but I don't see any other choice. Trading the trident is completely out of the question. Trading the blade is stupid for obvious reasons. The rabbit dress is too important as a backup plan for entering Eientei, and the hand mirror is too important as a transformation time-saver.

Hopefully the value we're losing here can be more than made up later, once we have a complete sword.

I'm thinking let's have the blacksmith take a look at the sword pieces, then start the mountain -> Mokou -> Eientei -> Magic Club run.

>"Until then, Miss Houjuu," he says. "Have a good evening."
>You make your way toward the human village. Before you even reach it, you can hear the music. Boisterous, fast-paced, and chaotic music. You quickly catch sight of the Prismriver Sisters hovering low over the village. Drawing closer, you can see the central village is a lot more crowded than before; people dance, and there seems to be a general air of merriment. However, taking a second glance, you note there are still a lot of people gathered there that are not joining in on the celebration. They give you a feeling akin to what you felt from the crowd the last time you had come here.

>You enter the temple, and walk toward the main part of the temple. There, you see a few people near the front, kneeling before the small clay statue of the Buddha and silently offering prayers. You see Ichirin sitting in the corner, her legs folded, her hands interlaced in front of her, and her eyes closed.

> Quietly back out of the room. No need to bother these people.
> Head back outside and toward the last spot we saw Byakuren.

>You don't recognize them. They seem to be farmers, given their clothing.
>Leaving the temple, you return to the center of town. You look around the schoolhouse, and do not see Byakuren. The carousing makes it difficult to see find her at first, but after a looking around a bit you see her sitting near an alley across the way, taking with a few people. The music and dancing makes it rather hard to hear much of anything right now, you suspect this is why a lot of people are at the edges of the area now.
