>"Until then," says Byakuren, returning your wave.
>You take to the air and leave the village behind. The trip toward Renko and Maribel's house is an easy one, and you get there soon enough. You fly a little bit southward of it, but can't see anything through the forest canopy. You don't recall any rivers going through this section of the forest, anyways; just the odd creek.

> Descend through the canopy and look around for any streams.

>You descend down into the forest.
>You find yourself in a overgrown area, where the leafy brush would make it nearly impossible to walk. The trees are decently spread out to the north and east, but grow thickly elsewhere. The canopy isn't too heavily, which is primarily why you descended here, but it's still quite dark here. The air has a heavy, earthy scent to it, which leads you to suspect this wouldn't be a bad place to hunt for mushrooms. You also notice a red-haired faerie about half your size in a loud yellow dress sitting unconcernedly among the foliage, and apparently arranging leaves on the ground.

> Head back toward Renko and Maribel's house, then land and head south in the forest, looking out for streams.

>You land near Maribel and Renko's house, noting that Renko isn't out in the garden anymore, or anyplace else outside.
>You head southward into the Forest. of Magic. There's a fairly well worn path to follow, and little underbrush along it. Soon, you find a broad and shallow stream, its clean waters flowing quietly through the forest. You think you can hear some faeries playing to the west a ways, but the overgrowth prevents you from seeing them.
