>The woman on the screen is speaking.
>"...a chain of mysterious thefts in pokemarts across the Kalos region continues today. However, recent security footage seems to shed some light on the mystery."
>Footage begins playing beside her as she continues to speak. It appears to be inside of a pokemon center, but with a pokemart built into it. You immediately notice Marisa, along with a small, foxlike pokemon.
>Marisa seems to be browsing, as the pokemon hops up on the counter and seems to act cute, the man behind the counter gets distracted.
>You then notice Marisa discreetly swipe a few things off the shelf and leave the store, the pokemon follows about a minute later.
>"Local authorities have begun their search for this woman, though they have not had any luck as of yet. In other news, tensions are rising in the Hoenn region as two criminal organizations continue their widespread scuffle. However, one person in particular seems to be trying to make a difference. We now go to Gabby for more."
>The screen cuts to another woman, with a young boy, "This is Gabby, reporting live from the Hoenn Region, where this boy witnessed a heroic act." she holds the microphone to the boy.
>"So, I was just out here catching some Wurmple, when I see this man being attacked by one of those Team Aqua goons, and suddenly out of nowhere this grey-haired lady with a Torchic comes by and just takes out the Aqua grunt's Poochyena! The aqua goon starts running and that's when the cool thing happens!" the boy gets excited, "In an instant there's just these knives flying from nowhere and they block his escape path! It was so awesome!"
