>She sets aside her knife, and goes to a rack in the back. "Mmm, ah, this'll do," she says, as she grabs a small back and then presents it to you. "Curry powder, just ground it up last night, even!"

>This depends on what you consider interesting. There are homes, there is the school which is currently out, there are other shops of various kinds.

>You depart, and make you way back down the road. Looking toward the school at the intersection, you note several children playing in the playground attached to it. The school itself seems to be quietly, though glancing through the windows, you think you can see someone at setting at a desk inside. The schoolhouse itself is a two-story building, leading you to suspect the upper part is probably a residence. It is well cared for, though you note some of the roof tiles seem to be damaged.

>You to the door, and find there is a small bell. Ringing it, you can see some movement inside, before the door slides open.  Standing in the threshold is a mid-zised woman with long hair on the edge between silver and blue. She wears a curious hat that brings to mind the caps from the ranking system you laid down long ago, though it doesn't really resemble any of the ones you created in particular. Aside from that, she wears a simple blue dress with a red scarf loosely tied around the color.
>"May I help you?" she asks, as her desires whisper just out of range. You get the feeling she is sizing you up, though.

> "Hello, miss. I am currently searching for my companions, who I believe came through this village a little while ago. They are outfitted in white and green, respectively, and the one in green is more or less a ghost. Have you or your children seen them, by any chance?"

>"Well, I noted she had gray hair, and seemed to be rather on the short side, given she was floating to have a better look. She ran off when I saw her, and I rather put the incident out of my mind."

>"Not really," says the silver-haired woman. "It didn't seem that she was up to any harm, at least."
