Touhou pocket wars 2nd - how to farm exp?

So I'm trying to farm exp in touhou pocket wars 2nd using keine's making history. I'm just using two of my strongest characters (komachi and nue) and keine and it doesn't really work out well sometimes because attacks miss sometimes. I know about the characters with hit rate buffs but I can't reliably cover all ranges with just one nuker. So which character should I buff up in case I want to use it to nuke and farm exp? (Probably yuuka)

And I noticed the amount of shared love stays the same even if I won the battle with the love sphere active, did it get changed in the patch that added the prismriver sisters?

One long range nuker in a back corner can hit 6 out of the 9 squares for maximum damage.  And if she also has a decent medium range attack, the other three are covered as well.  Nue qualifies perfectly, so she's all the offense you need.  Then all the other slots can either be support like Keine or a Hit buffer or characters you want to grind up.

Komachi is a great character but her main nuke is mid range, meaning she needs both short and long range attacks to round out a fight alone and that leaves the enemy alive longer to attack.  Which is exascerbated even further since her speed isn't that great.  In this setup I'd have her using her support card instead.

Also I have no idea what's going on with the love spheres.

EDIT: The reason characters like Yuuka or Yuyuko are preferred is that they can hit mid and long range strongly at the same time, making killing even faster.

So I discovered that winning a fight while a love sphere is active actually doesn't increase the amount of shared love gained, effectively ruining my intentions on doing this...

I noticed some people using a shinki with literally 60 or so HP, I assume every single point was thrown into attack or hit, but what's the reason to do that? I know she start out with 100 MP but she is incredibily slow and her strongest spellcard isn't even that powerful so how do I make use of it?

There's a couple things they could be doing with Shinki.  It really depends on her equipment, how much she's been reset, and whether or not they're also using Byakuren.  With an SP boost on Byakuren, they could fire off their unite spellcard which is good damage to all ranges.  But even without Byakuren, there's also the opportunity to use the wife system to load Shinki up with real nukes, and then enhance her speed.

And then there's the brute force method, which just cranks her attack power to six digits and rolls over everything.
